Curiosity. Courage. Community. Confidence.

“This is not a story about technology saving education. It is a story about people, partnership, and what becomes possible when belief is matched with support.”

The Cub Club Introduction

Our Partnership with Cub Club

At The New Insights Journey, impact does not end with personal insight or relational work. It extends into the environments where learning, confidence, and opportunity begin.

One of the ways we actively support this broader impact is through our partnership with Cub Club, a CAPS-aligned digital learning platform supporting Grade 4 to 7 learners in South African public schools.

Cub Club enhances teaching and learning through structured digital lessons, interactive activities, videos, games, and reading content delivered via tablets in the classroom. The programme is designed to support educators rather than replace them, easing pressure on teachers, improving learner engagement, and creating more consistent learning experiences in environments where resources are often limited.

This page shares why we support this work, how impact is created through it, and how individuals and organisations can choose to be part of that journey.

Why This Matters to Us

At The New Insights Journey, we work daily with behaviour, perception, and self-awareness. We see first-hand how learning environments, emotional safety, and access to opportunity shape how people show up in the world.

Education is not separate from behaviour.
It is one of the earliest places where confidence, curiosity, resilience, and self-belief are formed.

Cub Club addresses real challenges faced by many public schools, including limited access to digital resources, overcrowded classrooms, and a lack of ongoing support for educators. By integrating curriculum-aligned digital tools into everyday classroom practice, Cub Club helps learners stay engaged while giving teachers practical support they can rely on.

Impact in Practice

Through pilot implementations and ongoing partnerships with public schools, Cub Club has demonstrated measurable outcomes, including improved learner engagement, reduced absenteeism, stronger classroom participation, and improved academic results.

Beyond academics, the platform also supports holistic development through content that encourages critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. Learners are introduced to problem-solving approaches, coding, robotics, reading development, and life skills that prepare them for a rapidly changing world.

A positive change bringing excitement

Now including Robotics & STEM

“Cub Club has made reading and writing more enjoyable too. We can choose different strategies that suit how we learn best – whether that’s watching a video, listening to audio, or writing creatively.”

Learner Feedback Stories

“Many of us love coding and robotics, where we learn how to create and build things. Others enjoy history, especially when we do activities like debates or learn about transport and life in the past. We also enjoy crosswords, creative writing, and puzzles that help us think differently and work together as a team.”

“Since Cub Club arrived at our school, learning has become something we truly look forward to. Every morning we’re excited to come to school – we’re the only school in our community with the privilege of using tablets, and that makes us proud.”

How Impact Is Sustained

Cub Club is delivered through a registered non-profit structure called the Believe Foundation and qualifies for Section 18A certification and Social and Economic Development contributions. Funding is directed towards tablets, connectivity, platform access, teacher support, and long-term implementation within schools.

As part of our impact work, we actively support and represent Cub Club by introducing organisations to the programme, helping secure funding, and facilitating partnerships that allow this learning to reach more classrooms and communities.

This is impact that is practical, measurable, and rooted in dignity, education, and long-term opportunity.
